Organic rehires Kim as strategy veep; SI promotes Price to head digital division; AOL's Thompson goes to Facebook.

Organic rehired James Kim as VP of strategy, based in Detroit. Kim was most recently VP of marketing at Modem Media, prior to which he was group director of strategy at Organic’s San Francisco office.

Sports Illustrated named Jeff Price to head its new digital division as president. Price has been SI’s VP and CMO since he joined in 2002, prior to which he was VP of sponsorships and events at MasterCard and a sports marketing manager with Gatorade.

He’ll oversee SI.com, along with wireless, VOD and satellite radio products.

AOL sales veep Vince Thompson has resigned to join college student directory Facebook as VP of sales. Thompson will be based in Los Angeles, opening an office there.

Beyond Interactive promoted David Manning to VP and media director. He’s been with the agency since 2002, and has led work for CheapTickets.com and Cendant Hotels Group.

Pay-per-call provider ZiffLeads signed Judy’s Book as a distribution partner. The IYP’s local merchants will use it to generate phone leads.

Specialty retailer Scrooge & Marley tapped Zunch Communications to provide SEM services. The engagement is limited to the holiday season.
