Avenue A/Razorfish hired Sarah Kim as East region VP of media. Kim joins from mOne Worldwide, the digital and direct marketing operation of WPP subsidiary GroupM. She also worked for interactive agency Blue Marble.

Google appointed Nikesh Arora as VP of European operations, based in London. Arora was most recently CMO at T-Mobile and a member of that company’s board. Earlier, he worked for Deutsche Telekom.

McCann Erickson San Francisco — a.k.a McCannSF – named John McNeil executive VP and co-chief creative officer. McNeil has been with Ogilvy & Mather, New York, since 1996, most recently as senior partner and creative director on the IBM, Kodak, DuPont and Lycos accounts.

icrossing hired former AOL exec Maura Lewis as director of analytics. Lewis was senior project manager with AOL’s ad effectiveness research group. She also worked for AdKnowledge as director of strategy and analytics.

Eyeblaster named Doug McFarland to its board of directors. McFarland has served as executive VP and general manager of Advertising.com since 2002. Earlier, he was president of Jupiter Media Metrix for two years.

Marvel Enterprises handed ad representation duties on its flagship site to Interep Interactive. The independent ad seller will be the exclusive reseller of ads on Marvel.com, a source for information and news around Marvel’s catalog of comic heroes, including Spider-Man, The Fantastic Four and The X-Men.

WDBJ-TV in Roanoke, Va. will deploy WorldNow’s content management and streaming video solutions platform. WorldNow will also work with the new client on local and network sales development.

Internet yellow pages provider MYePages licensed Interchange’s search and advertising platform. Interchange will also provide MYePages with sponsored links from advertisers on its national network.
