Digital marketing agency Moxie Interactive promoted Shelley Bertsch to chief marketing officer, Bob Conquest to chief creative officer, and Jana Steckler to VP of client services. Bertsch moved up from dual roles in account management and business development. Conquest was associate creative director for the Voltage Factory before joining Moxie. Steckler earlier spent two years with Sidereus Group as director of professional services.

CrossMedia Services hired Mary VanKoevering as VP and chief financial officer. She was most recently VP and CFO with Apartments.com, and earlier served nine years with Kraft Foods.

Rare Method picked up two execs through its acquisition of Calgary-based Web marketing firm Cogent Media. Cogent principals Geoff Plewes and Trevor Paddock joined Rare Method as senior strategists and account managers.

SEM firm Range Online Media hired Andrea Wilson as team leader. Wilson joins from Neiman Marcus, where she was an assistant merchandise planner and buyer.

Digital marketing firm Ripple Effects Interactive launched a new Web site for IT consulting firm Partners Consulting Services. The new Web destination contains new content and improved navigation.

LookSmart is on the hunt for a senior VP of sales and client services. The company retained Executive Advantage Group to conduct the search.
