MySpace boosts Bryce Emo; Glam taps John Trimble to head sales; Blockbuster and bebe select agencies of record.
MySpace promoted Bryce Emo to senior vice president and head of sales. The social networking site promoted Emo from vice president, East Coast sales.
Glam Media hired John Trimble Joins as EVP of sales. The media firm and ad network created the position for Trimble, who was formerly senior vice president of advertising sales for Fox Interactive Media.
Organic promoted one exec and hired another. The digital communications agency promoted Amanda Van Nuys to vice president of corporate marketing and hired Denis Moore as vice president of finance. Van Nuys was formerly executive director, corporate marketing, while Denis was the CFO of Wieden + Kennedy Advertising.
Comcast Interactive Media named Scott Bailey senior vice president and general manager of Comcast.net. Bailey will be responsible for management and growth for the customer Web portal.
Strategic branding firm Siegel+Gale appointed Laurence Vincent as group director, strategy in its L.A. office. He previously led the Los Angeles office and entertainment marketing division of Octagon Worldwide.
Sony/ATV Music Publishing signed a licensing agreement with SpiralFrog. The free ad-supported Web-based music sharing site, which launched last month, will have access to Sony/ATV’s music libarary.
Blockbuster named AzoogleAds as its search engine marketing agency of record. The movie rental company’s account is managed under Bazaar Advertising, a division of AzoogleAds.
Bebe stores selected iCrossing as search agency of record. The fashion retailer tasked iCrossing with developing and implementing bebe’s natural and paid search campaigns.
The Advertising Research Foundation selected Exalead for its knowledge management system. The foundation for sharing knowledge about and for the advertising industry will use the exalead one:search platform to help members access its knowledge database.
Interevco promoted one exec and hired two more. The online consulting and advertising sales firm promoted Beth Renov to marketing consultant for Interevco Incubators. The company also hired Allison Lambroza and Howard Feinblatt to its online ad sales team
MarketLive hired two execs. The e-commerce systems company hired Tiffany Riley as senior vice president of marketing and Angela Bandlow as vice president of product management.
Datran Media hired Dave Hendricks as vice president of market strategy. The performance marketing company tasked Hendricks with managing its e-mail marketing service lines including StormPost and its full service offerings. Hendricks has previously worked with Oracle, MessageMedia, CheetahMail and other companies.
