Guardian renews search and ad deal with Yahoo; LendingTree taps FeedBurner for RSS managemen.

Guardian Unlimited renewed its search and advertising deal with Yahoo. Under the multi-year agreement, Yahoo U.K. and Ireland will continue distributing search results and ads to Guardian sites.

Soapbox Mobile, which provides mobile marketing services for a roster of entertainment brands, named Rowland Hanson co-chairman of its board. Hanson was VP of corporate communications at Microsoft.

LendingTree tapped FeedBurner to manage and monetize its 27 RSS feeds. The feeds provide information on finding mortgages, buying cars, and covering college tuition.

The Association of Directory Marketing named Stuart McKelvey chairman of its board. McKelvey is CEO of TMP Directional Marketing.
