Tacoda promoted Khan Smith to chief privacy officer. Smith continues his role as vice president of product management at the behavioral targeting advertising network, but replaces Mark Pinney, now head of business planning at AOL’s Platform A.

Scott Swanson joined Glam Media as general manager and vice president of Glam Media Publisher Network. Previously, Swanson was vice president of network development at Tribal Fusion.

Tremor Media hired five sales execs. The online video advertising network hired Cord Dover as the Southwest regional sales manager, Erik Schear as regional sales manager, covering New England and New York, and Damian Rajkovich as regional sales manager, Midwest. David Arthurs and Allison Hayden also joined as account executives.

Meijer tapped Oneupweb for search marketing. The retailer tasked Oneupweb to create a pay-per-click campaign.

TargusInfo hired Keith Peterson and Ken Inman to head development of its ElementOne Analytics Platform. The on-demand information services firm named Peterson, SVP of operations, and Inman, VP of research and development, for the new ElementOne division.

Revver named Damian Amitin as director of sales for the Eastern region. The video sharing service hired Amitin from Weather.com where he served as account manager.

Dealer.com hired Dean Evans as chief marketing officer. An online marketing firm focused on the automotive industry, Dealer.com wooed Evans from a position of vice president at Dealix Corporation.

Telescope appointed Jason George as chairman of the company. George came to the media and mobile marketing firm from its U.K.-based parent company, Harvest Media Group.
