Freestyle Interactive’s managing director has left the agency. Andy Tress has reportedly taken a job with Yahoo’s West Coast sales operation. Freestyle had no word on a replacement.

Tacoda hired Chris Little, a former ClickAgents sales exec, as director of Northwest sales. He’ll be based in San Francisco.

InfoSearch Media hired David Averill as general manager of its ContentLogic group. Averill held several executive positions at Ask Jeeves and Peoplesoft.

World Baseball Classic handed its advertising and PR account to Grey Worldwide’s BuzzGrey unit. The assignment includes strategic planning, creative and promotional elements. In the tournament, baseball players from around the world represent their home countries.

Google named Shirley Tilghman, Princeton University’s president and professor of molecular biology, to its board of directors. Tilghman participated in cloning the first mammalian gene and was on the National Research Council’s committee that set up the Human Genome Project.

EyeWonder hired three in sales and ad operations roles. Nicole Rosner joins as channel development coordinator, Stephanie Gray as ad operations coordinator and Paige Hansard as an account coordinator in its Southeast and Midwest regions.
