LeFurgy takes post at Poindexter; Office Depot names paid search agency; and ShopLocal chooses ad management software.

Poindexter Systems appointed Rich LeFurgy as chairman. LeFurgy is a principal at online marketing consultancy Archer and was a co-founder of the Interactive Advertising Bureau.

360i won Office Depot’s paid search business. The retailer previously handled SEM in-house.

ShopLocal tapped Accipiter’s AdManager platform for ad management on its network. Gannett, Tribune Company and Knight Ridder are all media partners.

Sharpe Partners relocated to larger offices. The interactive marketing firm now resides at 61 Broadway downtown.

24/7 Real Media added 50 search marketing clients in the last quarter. Business wins include Australian publisher News Interactive, Canon, Polaroid and U.K. retailer John Lewis.

New Orleans tanning salon Planet Beach tapped Web marketing firm Blue Water Media to build an message board for employees and family. The site is divided into “Can Provide” and “In Need Of” sections.
