Critical Mass hires Jones; Local.com renews Yahoo deal; General Atlantic adds big names as advisors.

Omnicom agency Critical Mass hired Celia Jones as director of marketing. Jones was previously director of content and lead copywriter at Chicago-based Designkitchen.

Acxiom Digital will become a premier provider of Goodmail Systems’ CertifiedEmail product. Acxiom clients that meet Goodmail’s accreditation standards will be able to have their messages delivered to inboxes with a blue ribbon envelope icon and a guarantee they won’t be routed to junk folders.

Local.com renewed a multi-year agreement to allow Yahoo to provide it with sponsored search results. The deal also covers ads on Local.com’s recently expanded local search network.

Investment firm General Atlantic has named two interactive media all-stars to advisory posts. Jonathan Miller, AOL’s former CEO and chairman, and Fox Interactive Media ex-president Ross Levinsohn will consult on investment and development for General Atlantic’s media and consumer arm.
