TBWA/Chiat/Day New York creates online ads to accompany Absolut's Raspberri launch; Tribesoft builds site for client Aleri; adware player 180solutions hires two.
TBWA/Chiat/Day New York handled online, print and TV ads that accompanied the launch of a microsite for Absolut’s new “Raspberri” vodka flavor. Swedish agencies Springtime and Daddy built the microsite, which uses a behind-the-scenes motif to create a virtual “back stage” to the Web presence. The new content includes art by Maya Hayuk and Kenji Hirata. As part of the product launch, new Raspberri drink recipes were also added to Absolut.com.
Integrated agency Tribesoft launched a new Web site for Aleri. The financial reporting and analysis firm tapped Tribesoft back in May.
Adware player 180solutions hired Mike McHenry as VP of sales and Ajay Murthy as senior VP of strategic business intelligence.
McHenry led global sales and marketing efforts at Global Media, iCat/Intel, Giga Information Group and Loudeye. He founded Seattle-based consultancy The ePartners. Murthy was senior VP of strategic alliances at InfoUSA, and held management posts with Bidpath Corporation, Microsoft and A.T. Kearney.
180solutions is trying to overcome a tarnished image, after having used questionable distribution methods for its software in the past.
