Agency.com recruits from McCann Worldgroup; Double Fusion hires media sales agency in the Nordic region; and Adtech signs four new clients.
McCann Worldgroup’s Dawn Furey joined Agency.com New York as managing partner. Furey’s responsibilities consist of managing relationships with clients including LG Electronics and CIT. She was VP and global account director at McCann Worldgroup where she was responsible for global integration across B2C and B2B digital advertising and marketing efforts, campaign landing experiences, and microsites for Intel.
Double Fusion signed a sales deal with Daring4media in Stockholm. The media sales firm will sell across the in-game advertising network for ads targeted to players located in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Iceland. Karing4media also represents traditional and digital media sales teams including Sky News, Times Online, Bloomberg TV, BusinessWeek, National Geographic, and Newsweek.
Adtech signed four clients to its U.S. branch. New clients include Worth International, Oddcast, Wi-Fi Guys, and Fixion Media.
Stacia Goddard joined Purple@Epsilon as EVP, strategic marketing services. Goddard was previously EVP and managing director at Hill/Holliday in New York, responsible for client services and new business activity. She also held senior management positions at Ammirati & Puris/Lintas and Ogilvy One, and Pinkholz Tweedy and Company.
Omnicom’s Critical Mass won Pearle Vision’s digital account. Critical Mass will provide strategic, creative, and development services to develop an online experience to align Peal Vision’s long-term business objectives for both the U.S. and Canadian markets.
PopCap hired Ben Rotholtz as VP of marketing, a newly-created position. Rotholtz was previously general manager of Rhapsody and Real, and had been with the company nearly 10 years.
Powered opened a West Coast office. With its headquarters in Austin, TX, Powered branched out to San Mateo, CA, to open a new office. The Silicon Valley location allows the company to work more closely with regional customers as they integrate social commerce and training programs into their digital marketing programs.
Sreekanth Sampathkumaran was named analytic director of iKnowltion. In his 20 years in analytical marketing and CRM experience, Sampathkumaran worked for Grand Circle Travel as VP of database marketing, and was director of database marketing at New England Business Services before that.
CPA-based ad network Hydra Network promoted one, and hired another. Hydra promoted Chris Pink to sales director. Pink was the first sales member in the division in 2005, and now leads a team of seven. Susan McGregor joins Hydra as performance media consultant, reporting to Pink. She was previously a senior account executive at Addynamix.
Nokia added publications from Source Interlink Media to its Nokia Media Network. Source Interlink titles Motor Trend and Automobile are among those included on the network. There are more than 75 titles in the Source Interlink Media catalog.
ContextWeb adds a new member to its ADSDAQ Ad Exchange board. Michael Kelly, the former president of AOL Media Networks and the current chairman Eyeblaster’s board joined the ADSDAQ board.
Eric Joseph appointed as president and COO of mobile marketing and application company 3RD Dimension. Joseph was previously SVP and worldwide marketing director for Titan Worldwide. He also worked with SFX/Clear Channel Entertainment.
