Digital agency Huge appoints creative director. Peter Reid has been hired as the new creative director of HUGE’s Los Angeles office. Prior to the appointment Reid freelanced for over twelve years as creative director to properties such as Francis Ford Coppola, Sony, Ford, and Dreamworks.
HubSpot acquires social media marketing agency oneforty. The marketing software company based in Cambridge, MA has acquired oneforty along with its directory of social media applications which will be integrated into HubSpot’s App Marketplace. In addition, features from oneforty’s social media marketing tool “SocialBase” will be integrated into HubSpot’s product.
Arnold Worldwide appoints Drake Pusey as VP, director of digital platforms. In an ongoing effort to expand its digital reach, Arnold Worldwide has hired Pusey as VP where he will focus on customer engagement through the creation of technology-based brand platforms. Pusey previously served as director, engagement strategy at Isobar in Boston.
Rob Tarkoff named CEO of Lithium Technologies. The social customer solutions company has announced that Tarkoff will succeed Lithium co-founder Lyle Fong as CEO, while Fong will take on the role of chief strategist in addition to serving on the board of directors. Software veteran Tarkoff joins Lithium after his time spent as SVP and GM of the Digital Enterprise Solutions business unit at Adobe Systems.
Knotice announces the appointment of two new directors. The direct digital marketing software and services firm has added Jeff Carey as director of analysis and strategy , along with Brent Williams as director of professional services. Carey has previously served at a variety of renowned companies including Charter Communications where he was senior director of marketing science. At Knotice he will be responsible for supporting marketing strategies and develop platform requirements of the company’s on-demand software Concentri. Williams has over 17 years experience in interactive marketing including his position as VP of interactive marketing at KeyBank.
Young and Laramore hires Joe Botich as digital media strategist. The advertising agency based in Indianapolis has announced that the new position within EchoPoint Media, a division of Y&L, will be filled by Botich who joins the agency after serving as digital media supervisor at GSD&M in Austin, Texas.
Zedo expands presence to New York City. The San Francisco based advertising technology partner for publishers has announced that it will expand to New York City to support demands of major New York publishers. The New York office will be headed by current VP of regional sales, Ben Cohen, and will soon include sales, support and account management personnel.
