McCann Worldgroup San Francisco shakes things up with key executive appointments; Agent16 appoints co-presidents.
McCann Worldgroup San Francisco made key executive appointments. Marc Ruxin was promoted to executive vice president, chief innovation officer. In his new role he will work with the agency’s creative, media, planning, and account leadership to make innovation a component of every large campaign. Ruxin previously held the post of senior vice president, director, digital strategy and innovation.
Alistair Duff, previously with McCann Worldgroup South Africa, joined the SF office as senior vice president, group planning director. Duff will work in the agency’s planning department, and will also oversee strategic planning for the agency’s HP account. He was previously group strategic director in the Johannesburg office of Universal McCann and Momentum. He was also the strategic lead for the GM and Telkom Stories accounts.
Agent16 names two. Clark Moss and Richard Wise were named co-presidents, two new positions reporting to Bill Brown who remains chairman. Wise will take the role of president, director of strategic planning and will oversee account planning for the advertising and digital marketing firm. He has worked at Agent16 since 1993. Moss has been chief creative officer and directed the development of Agent16 campaigns since he joined the agency in 1994. He will take on the role of president, executive creative director, where he will oversee the creative, graphic services, and digital production departments.
OgilvyOne and Mobixell work together on mobile advertising solutions. The partnership will deliver a commercial and technological package including advertising, brand management, consumer profiling, campaign planning and execution, ad serving, and rich media delivery. Mobixell provides telco-grade solutions and ad server technology to the deal.
Red Door Interactive was selected by Milton’s. Milton’s Fine Foods signed San Diego-based Red Door Interactive to raise its Internet presence. Red Door’s agenda includes optimizing Milton’s online initiatives such as brand awareness, and supporting its customer and consumer relationships.
Ideocracy and People.com partner. Ideocracy created a branded channel Vipwich.com, a talent-driven broadband channel with story-driven content. The channel, created for People.com, has upcoming sponsorships from Mott’s.
Netbiscuits teams with AdMob on rich mobile advertising. Netbiscuits will provide its Web software platform for development, publishing, and advertising on the mobile Internet and let AdMob implement its mobile advertising marketplace. Publishers and developers can integrate rich mobile ads using video, intelligent linking, and device-specific schemes.
Kudzu.com integrates with Facebook. Local provider directory Kudzu.com, a subsidiary of Cox Search, implemented Facebook Connect so when visitors write a review of a service provider or professional, recommendations can be shared with friends on the social networking site.
