Microsoft promotes Troberman; R/GA hires social media exec; Hyperfactory opens San Francisco office.
Microsoft promoted Gayle Troberman to GM, global interactive campaigns in its central marketing group. Troberman has been GM of branded entertainment in Microsoft’s MSN division for the past six years. In her new role she’ll develop digital interactive marketing capabilities, and manage agency relationships and creative across Microsoft products and services. Erika Nardini will take over Troberman’s previous responsibilities. The changeover is expected to happen on May 26.
Moxie hired David Goodrich as SVP and managing director. Goodrich will lead Moxie’s digital offering on the West Coast. He worked previously at OMD as managing director of digital.
HC&B Healthcare created a digital unit and made Steven Roy its director. He has been with HC&B since 2006, and previously co-founded Yellow Circle, a Web development agency that created online marketing initiatives. Ian Spalter returned to R/GA as creative director in the mobile and emerging platforms group. He will lead projects focused on social media and digital product design. Spalter was most recently VP of product management and user-experience design at Community Connect, and previously he was associate creative director at R/GA.
Hyperfactory opened a San Francisco office and named Aaron Watkins VP of mobile integration. Watkins worked most recently at Ipsh, where he was VP of mobile marketing.
Didit won two new accounts. Trend Micro and PetCareRX signed on for search engine marketing services.
Digital agency Push won accounts with Asbury Park developers Madison Marquette and fashion magazine ZINK. For the former, it’s building Web destinations for the Asbury Park boardwalk and Wesley Grove Asbury as well as other sites. For the latter, Push will create the magazine’s site.
WebTrends signed PsPrint as a client. WebTrends will provide management and reporting for paid search advertising campaigns. PsPrint will look to optimize its campaign strategy and better build its customer service experience through the service.
Technology Leaders named Pelin Wood to board of directors. Wood is currently managing partner at California-based Aegean Group, and formerly served on the board of WebSideStory, now part of Omniture.
Photo-editing site Picnik selected Tribal Fusion as its online advertising network.
