Execs & Accounts: Molecular, HealthCentral, iCrossing

Molecular was selected by GSN, formerly the Game Show Network, to redesign GSN.com. Molecular is tasked with creating a site to provide users with a fresher, more personalized online experience that bridges the cable TV and online mediums.

HealthCentral Network named Jeremy Shane president and chief operating officer. Shane was formerly vice president of business development for HealthCentral, and was promoted to president and COO. Prior to HealthCentral, Shane was co-founder and CEO of Versify Solutions.

Jeffrey Rayport joined iCrossing as a board member. Rayport was previously a faculty member at Harvard Business School.

Marchex Adhere for Publishers added 23 premium sites. Its roster now counts more than 200 premium publishers using the Marchex Adhere platform.

Coca-Cola Blastbeat selected Kaltura’s video platform to power its Blastbeat.tv and Blastbeat.org sites. Coca-Cola’s Blastbeat is a music and multimedia project where groups of teens worldwide produce and distribute original music, and will be able to create and edit music and video clips using Kaltura’s interface.

Caribou Coffee is distributing mobile coupons nationwide through Cellfire. Caribou will accept Cellfire mobile coupons in all 443 retail locations in the U.S. Consumers can get $1 off any large drink or a free drink with purchase of a pound off coffee by using the Cellfire service.

Kiwibox and Burst Media partnered to create Kiwibox Teen Network. Kiwibox, the primary business unit of Magnitude Information Systems, signed a deal with Burst Media to create an online advertising network for marketers looking to reach teens. The network is comprised of a group of teen-focused Web sites anchored by Kiwibox.

Steel Advertising & Interactive hired an account coordinator and copywriter. Marissa Telford, account services coordinator, was an advertising major at the University of Texis Media Sequence and the Business Foundations Program. Robert Finger, copywriter, was brought on to support various accounts including Challenge Games and Illumitex. Steel Advertising & Interactive is the branding and advertising unit of SteelSMBology.

Minyanville Media named a chief operating officer and formed its board of advisors. COO Tom Eggers was CEO of Dreyfus Corporation and Scudder Investments. Minyanville’s board includes Eggers; Wenda Harris Millard, president of media and co-CEO of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia; and Roger Goldman, director and audit committee chairman of American Express Bank, among others.
