Molecular named Melanie Lowe managing director of its San Francisco office. Lowe was promoted to the position and also received a VP title. She joined Molecular through its acquisition of Ion Global; her most recent title was director of operations. Lowe will become part of the agency’s executive team, replacing Wei-Tai Kwok, who is taking an extended sabbatical.
Publicis Dallas created “I Am Curves Smart” campaign for Curves. The fitness franchise featured CurvesSmart personal coaching system in its new campaign spanning online, TV, newspaper, and radio.
Liquid Advertising was named media agency of record for Codemasters. Liquid Advertising will handle online, broadcast, and print media buying assignments in North America for the video game publisher.
The Rubicon Project is using Crescendo Networks’ AppBeat DC. AppBeat measures the performance, efficiency, and availability of the Rubicon Project’s ad optimization servers.
Format Dynamics hired two regional ad sales directors. Julie Kennedy, West Coast regional sales director, will oversee sales and advertiser/agency relationships in the Western region. She most recently handled sales and marketing for Zango in Los Angeles. Janae Redmond, East Coast regional sales director, will work to build agency and advertiser relationships throughout the region. She was most recently client relationship manager for the mid-Atlantic and New York territories at DRIVEpm.
Futuremark joined NetShelter’s vertical ad network. Futuremark, a provider of PC performance-benchmark software 3DMark and services for PCs and embedded systems, has reach with PC gamers, enthusiasts, and overclockers.
FunnyorDie named Amy Wright Midwest sales manager Wright is responsible for covering the Midwest region including Detroit for all orDieNetworks properties, which include FunnyorDie, ShredorDie, EatDrinkorDie, and PwnorDie. Wright spent the past four years at ABC Family.
