MRM Worldwide partnered with AdGooro and Covario. The partnerships will enable MRM Worldwide to continue to deliver search optimization solutions to its global clients. The tools work across the major search engines and across MRM’s paid and organic search offering.

Adam Shlachter to lead digital practice at MEC Interaction. He was previously group director at MEC Interaction, a division of Mediaedge:cia, where he focused on developing online and emerging communications for his clients.

Rebecca Lieb takes a position at Econsultancy. U.K.-based Econsultancy hired Lieb, former ClickZ VP and editor-in-chief, to serve as vice president. She will oversee the launch of the company’s U.S. division based in New York. Lieb led ClickZ’s editorial direction for over seven years. She will continue on as a ClickZ Experts columnist.

Mercedes-Benz USA tapped Razorfish to be its digital agency of record as it prepares to launch its 2010 vehicles, including the E-Class sedan. The Microsoft-owned agency won the account after a three-month review involving five other agencies. The business previously belonged to Toronto-based Critical Mass. The assignment includes digital marketing strategy, creative services, media planning, and web site development. It will be handled out of Razorfish’s New York office.

MTV Networks and Panache partner on in-video ads. Panache wil deploy its platform across MTVN’s Web sites to enable measurable online video ads across MTV.com, VH1.com, Nick.com, and CMT.com.

Public relations firm Morris + King Company formed a digital media division. SeisMK, the digital division of the Morris + King Co. will handle social media strategies, microsite development, widget creation, content development, and syndication. Lane Buschel has been tapped to lead the practice as president.

Mara Sternthal joined Ascent Media’s Global Media Exchange. Sternthal was named senior vice president of business development at the organization. Before joining Ascent, Sternthal consulted for entertainment and new media clients, specializing in content acquisition and programming strategies, new revenue opportunities, negotiating partnerships, and alliances. Her clients included VCs and institutional investors, and media and technology companies such as Microsoft.

Visible Technologies and Spring Creek Group partner on social media management solution. Visible Technologies provides social media monitoring and engagement solutions, Spring Creek Group offers services as an online marketing agency. The two name Microsoft as a client.

Interactive marketing veteran promoted at hybrid PR and marketing firm. Leslie Campisi was named vice president and partner of Affect Strategies, a public relations and strategic marketing firm based in New York. The interactive marketing industry veteran joined Affect in 2005 to oversee growth of the marketing division.
