Phonevalley creates a mobile site for PUMA's sailing team; Alterian welcomes Ivan Chalif; WorldNow works with Redlasso on syndication deal.

PUMA and Phonevalley go mobile on the high seas. The Publicis mobile agency Phonevalley built a mobile Web site, m.pumaoceanracing.com, to support the PUMA Ocean Race team on the Volvo Ocean Race. The site includes a viral send-to-friends element.

Alterian names a new head of product marketing. Ivan Chalif was appointed director of product marketing at Alterian. He previously held product manager roles at online marketing company MediaPlex and e-mail infrastructure provider StrongMail Systems.

WorldNow and Redlasso syndicate content. Redlasso, a branded media player and online platform, will provide content and customizable clips to WorldNow affiliates to monetize and control their content. The syndication includes a revenue share.
