Phonevalley creates a mobile site for PUMA's sailing team, Alterian welcomes Ivan Chalif, and WorldNow works with Redlasso on syndication deal.

PUMA and Phonevalley go mobile on the high seas. The Publicis mobile agency Phonevalley built a mobile Web site, m.pumaoceanracing.com, to support the PUMA Ocean Race team’s progress through the Volvo Ocean Race. The site includes a viral send-to-friends element.

Alterian names a new head of product marketing. Ivan Chalif was appointed director of product marketing at Alterian. He previously held product manager roles at online marketing company MediaPlex and e-mail infrastructure provider StrongMail Systems.

WorldNow and Redlasso syndicate content. Redlasso, a branded media player and online platform will provide content and customizable clips to WorldNow affiliates to monetize and control their content. The syndication includes a revenue share model.
