Former AOL Platform-A executive Jack Rotheram joined Metacafe. Rotheram oversaw strategic planning and monetization initiatives for social media and high-reach properties including AOL Video, Advertising.com Video Network, AIM, ICQ, Bebo, AOL eMail, and AOL News. Before AOL, Rotheram was publisher for Time’s Teen People and its online and mobile extensions. Previously he spent 14 years at Wenner Media, where his roles included serving as VP and publisher of Rolling Stone.

Agency.com Chicago appointed a new business development and marketing director. Warren McKenna was named director of business development and marketing. McKenna, an alum of Agency.com, returns after seven years away. In the interim he established a branding firm, Warren McKenna Design Group.

McCann Erickson, MRM Worldwide, and T.A.G. created a multiplatform brand campaign for Boys & Girls Clubs America. The campaign includes a Web site, be-great.org, online ads, print, television, and out-of-home.

Tremor Media marked its European expansion with the appointment of Christian Baudis. Baudis, executive managing director Europe, will head Tremor’s European business and worldwide expansion. He joins Tremor from Google, where he was the head of its Germany operations.

McAfee named DDB and Tribal DDB as agency of record. The agencies will build an integrated marketing communications strategy for the McAfee brand encompassing strategic planning, creative development, and media buying.

World Tree Technologies hired WideGroup as its agency of record. WideGroup will take part in World Tree’s new plan to strengthen and increase its online sales, improve branding and customer service, and expand with new products and markets.
