Execs & Accounts: Pointroll, Neo@Ogilvy, Digitas

Pointroll named Andy Pocock managing director of its EMEA division. Pocock will oversee marketing, sales, and business development across the region. He began his digital advertising career rich media firm Tangozebra in 2000, and later became business development director. Tangozebra was acquired by DoubleClick in 2007, and Pocock became director of DoubleClick’s rich media division.

Neo@Ogilvy and Covario advanced their partnership. The partnership includes two joint customers Intel and Adobe.

Don Durbin joined Digitas Chicago in a senior marketing role. Durbin, senior vice president of marketing, will lead the millerCoors account. Prior to Digitas Durbin was senior vice president, management director for Element 79, where he worked on the Gatorade, Propel, and G2 accounts. He has also held leadership roles at JWT, America Online, Campbell-Ewald, and Young & Rubicam.

Heavy.com hired Vincent Lambino as director of sales. Lambino was formerly sales director for Ripe TV. He will fill a previously-existing position, and be based out of Heavy’s New York office. Heavy.com also promoted Linda Gielniak, Detroit sales executive, to national automotive director.

The Advertising Research Foundation named Raymond Pettit as SVP of research and standards. Pettit, who holds a doctorate from the University of Illinois, replaces William Cook, who is leaving on an extended sabbatical. Pettit was most recently a VP at MarketShare Partners, a Los Angeles-based analytic strategic firm. Pettit has authored two books on marketing and advertising research.

Media services agency Horizon Media recruited a Carat media executive. Michelle Lawrence was hired as digital group media director. She was a strategic cross media lead on Pfizer’s direct-to-consumer brands advertising at Carat. She previously worked as online media account director at ID Media in New York.
