Publicis Worldwide in the USA promoted Dani Nadel to president of Publicis Modem and Dialog USA. Effective immediately, Nadel, previously president of Publicis Modem and Dialog East in New York, will now oversee the firm’s San Francisco office in addition to New York. She will report to Susan Gianinno, chairman and CEO of Publicis Worldwide in the USA. Nadel hails from Publicis-owned Digitas.
Local search marketing agency TMP Directional Marketing named Gregg Stewart president of its new interactive division. Stewart, who founded Interpublic’s Wahlstrom Interactive, will head up 15miles, running daily operations and helping clients focused on local search with digital marketing strategies.
Targetbase and KnowledgeBase will use the marketing automation tool from Alterian and Unisys Corp. The direct marketing agencies will use the platform to handle large prospect databases more efficiently at lower costs.
Goodmail landed SkyMall. The e-mail certification provider signed a six-month agreement after SkyMall ran a free trial in August. During eight A/B split tests, the in-flight cataloger saw open and click-through rates spike, said Shea Beck, online marketing manager, while not disclosing the CPM rate the two firms agreed upon.
