Razorfish promotes William Flaiz; Organic hires three executives, Ringleader Digital partners with EyeWonder.
Razorfish promotes William Flaiz. He was named general manager of Razorfish’s global solutions group. His previous role at the interactive marketing company was vice president of search engine optimization and Web analytics. Flaiz replaces Lee Sherman, who was named president of Razorfish Asia-Pacific in January.
Organic hires three execs. Chris Albet, vice president, engagement management, was previously vice president, strategy, of the financial service practice of IMC2 and senior vice president and marketing director of the financial services practice of G2. Margot Hyun, executive director, engagement management, will work in the San Francisco office. She started her career as a banker at Citibank before moving into marketing at American Express, Chase, and Travelers. She was a senior executive at Interbrand and Agency.com, followed by a return to the client side at Yahoo. Most recently she ran her own marketing consulting firm working with Wells Fargo‘s HELOC business and Cisco. Amy Hodgins, creative director, worked as a creative director at MRM Worldwide before joining Ogilvy in New York. Hodgins has over 10 years of agency experience and her clients have included Nikon, IBM, Best Buy, Fujifilm, Bertolli, Hasbro, Minute Maid, and Kohl’s.
Ringleader Digital and EyeWonder partner on mobile ad serving. The collaboration is to develop rich media and video solutions for Ringleader Digital’s third-party advertising network. The agreement provides a platform for mobile advertising in rich media applications and services.
Three exit MySpace for start-up. Amit Kapur, COO; Jim Benedetto, SVP of engineering; and Steve Pearman, senior vice president of product strategy left the News Corp-owned social networking site to work on a start-up, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. Kapur joined MySpace in 2005, and worked at NBC Universal previously.
Rubbermaid signed up for Bazzarvoice Ratings & Reviews. Rubbermaid will implement the tool and allow consumers to share opinions on its products, read peer reviews, and rate products in order to make decisions while ordering.
ScottsMiracle-Gro selects Omniture to measure and optimize its online marketing campaigns. The lawn care supplier is using Omniture SiteCatalyst and Genesis to manage e-mail through ESP ExactTarget, and SearchCenter to optimize paid search campaigns.
Cyber-Duck constructs a building in 78 seconds. Interactive agency Cyber-Duck produced a campaign for BAM Construct U.K. including a video clip on its Web site showing the construction of a university biosciences building compressed from 330 days into 78 seconds.
