Execs & Accounts: Rusty Coats, imc2, Goodmail

Newspaperman Rusty Coats named head of Scripps' interactive division; imc2 names April Weeks VP of media services.

Newspaperman Rusty Coats was named vice president of interactive for the newspaper division of E.W. Scripps. Coats will start his new role in the Internet strategy version in mid August. He was most recently managing director of product and audience development at Media General, where he was involved with the Yahoo consortium. He was also VP and general manager of TBO.com, a joint business of the Tampa Tribune and TV station WFLA.

April Weeks joined imc2 as VP of media services. Weeks was previously VP and director of digital media at TM Advertising. Prior to TM, she was account and media director at Agency.com.

Goodmail named Ragy Thomas to its technical advisory board. Thomas is the former president and CTO of Epsilon’s Interactive Services Group.

ContextWeb named Chip Meakem of Kodiak Venture Partners to its board of advisors. Meakam is a general Partner at Kodiak.
