Raymond Stern joins Yahoo as SVP, business development and partnerships. He replaces Jim Schinella, who last year moved to the East Coast to be close to his family, the company said. The role is focused on overall Yahoo strategy.

BBDO executes Starbucks Love Project event. Live global event asked people around the world to upload videos to benefit product (RED) Africa AIDS initiative. More than 120 countries participated and the effort set a Guinness record for “most nations in an online singalong.”

IMVU builds virtual storefront for clothing retailer. Avatar-based social network worked with Charlotte Russe, a mall-based apparel company, to let members buy virtual clothing and accessories.

The Dallas Cowboys launches a Facebook fan page courtesy of Buddy Media. The page features a video module, an “affinity module” that lets fans update their status with team-related content, and a Twitter/RSS feed with content from Cowboys players, coaches, and other NFL notables.
