Starcom MediaVest creates new position for Swinland, IMC2 scores Grey man; Responsys grabs Everett-Church

Starcom MediaVest named Andrew Swinand president of global operations. Swinand occupies a newly-created role designed to fortify operations in the Asia Pacific, Latin America, and EMEA regions. He will work directly with regional CEOs in each of those countries. Swinand was most recently at Denuo, an SMG unit and media future consultancy within Publicis Groupe. Prior to his role at Denuo, he was president of Starcom Worldwide, where he brought in the Samsung business and helped build the global technology practice.

IMC2 added hired Bob Lukasik as VP and group creative director, to work in its New York office. Lukasik is former executive creative director of G2 Interactive, formerly Grey Interactive. He is the third executive to recently join IMC2’s New York team. He follows former Digitas exec David Shulman, and ex-OgilvyOne exec Jennifer Johnson.

Ray Everett-Church has been named director of privacy and industry relations for Responsys. Everett-Church had previously been at Habeas, which was recently sold to Return Path. Everett-Church is the co-author of the books “Internet Privacy for Dummies,” and “Fighting Spam for Dummies.”

Oneupweb and Web site design and development company Grand River formed a strategic partnership. Combined, the two companies will be able to offer clients Web site development services as well as SEO and SEM services.

Joe Rutledge was named executive vice president of Cohn & Wolfe. Rutledge will head the firm’s global corporate practice and will collaborate with the agency’s digital and sustainability practices to develop global, cross-channel marketing programs. He previously managed corporate reputation for NBC.
