Tribal Fusion signs digital ad vets to CPG advisory board; TargetSpot hires new CEO; LA Times shuffles ad sales team.
Ad network Tribal Fusion signed two digital marketing vets to its new consumer product goods advisory board. Carol Kruse, VP of global interactive marketing for Coca-Cola joins with former Universal McCann EVP and Global Managing Partner Stuart Bogaty. The goal of the board is to develop campaigns tailored specifically to CPG advertisers. Tribal Fusion said it plans to build similar advisory boards dedicated to other key verticals.
Internet radio ad network TargetSpot hired Eyal Goldwerger as CEO. Previously Goldwerger was CEO of marketing software firm XMPie, which was acquired by Xerox in 2006. TargetSpot’s network is distributed through CBS Radio, Fox News, Yahoo’s Launchcast, and AOL Radio, and encompasses around 15 million unique listeners per month.
The Los Angeles Times Media Group has shuffled its ad sales teams’ priorities and positions. Dawn Girocco has been named SVP Tribune Media Group, West, and will now focus more on cross-media and cross-platform revenue generation. Girocco will report to Tribune365 National Solutions Group President Don Meek. As EVP advertising, John O’Loughlin will handle display, classified, niche, and digital sales. Scott McKibben will serve in the newly created EVP strategic partnerships role, leading strategic partnerships for the company’s existing businesses.
E-mail marketing firm iContact has named former LendingTree exec Keith Moore as its CMO. Moore previously served as GM and SVP for LendingTree parent firm Tree.com where he handled short form mortgage and emerging businesses divisions. iContact serves over 50,000 clients and has over 185 employees.
Web video firm TurnHere has expanded its relationship with Weichert Realtors. Continuing a year-long partnership, TurnHere will produce a series of online videos focused on neighborhoods in the real estate firm’s Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. TurnHere has created 50 such videos for Weichert which appear alongside property listings.
Global strategic branding firm Siegel+Gale has hired Terresa Zimmerman as a strategy director in LA. Formerly a client director at Landor Associates, Zimmerman has worked with brands including Philips, Medtronic, and Boeing.
Boston consulting and marketing outfit ISM has named Mona Downey to the newly created director of strategic planning and digital integration role. Downey will head up digital, interactive and social media strategy development in addition to client management and account planning. She was most recently director of consulting at Beam Interactive in Boston, working with clients including Comcast and Puma.
Experts Exchange has joined the NetShelter Technology Media network. The Experts Exchange is a knowledge-sharing site for tech professionals.
