Tumri hires a Yahoo; Lionsgate retains Visionaire Group for Facebook Connect campaign; RedLever names brand strategist..

Former Yahoo joins Tumri. Jeff McCombs was named chief financial officer of Tumri. He was previously senior vice president of business operations at Yahoo. Prior to his most senior role at Yahoo, he served as chief of staff to Yahoo’s president, Sue Decker. He spent over a decade in investment banking, corporate development, and private equity.

Visionaire Group creates a Facebook Connect campaign. To promote the upcoming Lionsgate movie “Crank High Voltage,” the studio worked with Visionaire Group to create a campaign using Facebook Connect. The contest challenges consumers to use their Facebook account to complete 14 “shocking” challenges.

RedLever names brand strategist. Josh Crick was named senior brand strategist of digital studio RedLever. Crick joins the agency from Nonstop Riot, a music marketing and branding agency, where he was founder and CEO. He was previously director of international partner marketing at Napster.

Magnolia Pictures promotes in its interactive marketing department. Andrew McGraime was promoted to vice president of interactive marketing of Magnolia Pictures, the theatrical and home entertainment distribution arm of Wagner/Cuban. McGraime will oversee online and mobile marketing for Magnolia and Magnet theatrical releases. He was previously director of interactive marketing during his three years with the company.

Mochila’s McAllister moves to Reuters. Keith McAllister was named global editor, online, at Reuters, a newly created role. McAllister will oversee packaging, programming, and publishing of all editorial content for Reuters News web sites and retail customers. He was previously CEO of Mochila, a Web-based news content distribution service, and worked at CNN for over 17 years before that.

Canon U.S.A. selects Bazaarvoice for customer reviews. Canon will put Bazaarvoice Ratings & Reviews on its site to let consumers comment on digital imaging and home office business products.

Cellufun appoints a new CEO. Neil Edwards was named CEO of Cellufun, a mobile virtual community. Edwards was the founding CEO of dotMobi, and built a consortium of mobile brands including Nokia, Vodafone, Google, Microsoft, Visa, and others at the domain.
