Execs & Accounts: TurnHere, Euro RSCG, Miva

Bud Rosenthal was named TurnHere’s CEO. Rosenthal has 20 years of experience in online solutions with small- and medium-sized businesses including senior roles as vice president at Yahoo Small Business Services and Real Networks Rhapsody music division. Rosenthal replaces founder Bradley Inman, who will remain with the company as a driver of long-term strategic goals as chairman, founder, and principal shareholder. John McWeeny was promoted to COO, he was previously COO of MetroRent.

Euro RSCG grouped its digital and DRTV offices under Euro RSCG Edge. The group will be headquartered in Portland, OR, with additional offices in Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Boston. Edge will center around the DRTV and corporate digital services including TV, online, and traditional formats.

MIVA lost its president and CMO Seb Bishop.He left to pursue other opportunities. Bishop, who had been with the toolbar and contextual advertising business since 2000, will retain a seat on the board of directors. Chief Executive Officer Peter Corrao will assume Bishop’s responsibilities.

TMP Worldwide selected Velti to provide SMS messaging program for its job board. Velti’s mobile marketing and advertising platform allows TMP Worldwide to text job candidates when suitable vacancies become available.

Gorilla Nation signed four African-American Web properties to the GNMulticultural vertical. Gorilla Nation will exclusively represent selected advertisers for the online ad inventory for BlackPeopleMeet.com, BlackChristianPeopleMeet.com. Meanwhile, both will provide GNMulticultural with reach to an African-American audience. Two additional sites, BlackWebPortal.com and Rap-Up.com, also signed with Gorilla Nation and will provide inventory to the GNMulticultural vertical.
