Hugo Drayton has been appointed CEO of InSkin Media, the video and rich media ad overlay outfit. Drayton joins from controversial behavioral targeting company Phorm, where he spent two years as CEO. Prior to that, Drayton held positions as The Telegraph new media director, and European MD of Advertising.com.
Specific Media, the behavioural targeting network, has appointed Ian Dowds as U.K. Vice President. Joining from Turner Broadcasting, at which he held the role of sales director, Dowds will now be responsible for sales and operations initiatives for Specific Media within the U.K. He will report into Colin Petrie-Norris, Managing Director, International.
Online performance marketing firm, Epic Advertising, has opened a London office. The New-York-based outfit hired Rob Wilson in October 2008 as SVP and General Manager of the company’s European business. The company said the London expansion was an opportunity created out of demand, as the U.K. market is currently its second largest revenue-producing territory. It plans to continue its European expansion.
