VeriSign creates interactive contest; Bazaarvoice hires international VP; Former eBay CMO joins MarketShare Patners board.

Universal McCann and client VeriSign created an interactive contest at FaveGreenPics.com. The promotion for VeriSign’s extended validation SSL security certificates includes extensions for Twitter and Facebook.

Bazaarvoice hired Andy Leaver as international VP. Leaver’s background includes stints managing EMEA operations for software companies SuccessFactors and Spend Management.

A former CMO at eBay joined the advisory board of marketing analytics firm MarketShare Partners. At eBay, Mike Linton introduced a couponing capability and loyalty program. Before that he was Best Buy’s first CMO.
