Horizon creates campaign for Webster Bank; CDW taps Sendtec; iCrossing to work with Pluck.

Horizon Media created a multimedia campaign for Webster Bank. The effort includes outreach to local sites, blogs, forums, message boards, e-mail lists and social networks, Horizon said.

CDW selected Sendtec as its SEM agency of record.

iCrossing will work with social media and marketing firm Pluck to enhance its clients’ campaigns. The search-centric agency will use Pluck’s SiteLife platform to engage Web users through comments, ratings, content sharing, and social networking sites.

Technorati, a blog search firm and ad network, hired Dave White as VP of publishing. He joins from IGN Entertainment, a division of FOX Interactive Media.

Click Forensics is working with Broadspring, eZanga.com, and Ad Chap. Click Forensics will seek to improve pay-per-click traffic quality for search marketers.

Richard Hale joined ClickSquared as general manager. Hale spent seven years at Unica as VP of services, and 20 years at Epsilon, where he spent time as VP of consulting services.

Ad agency Departure selected Alterian to provide its e-mail marketing solutions. Alterian’s Dynamic Messenger e-mail solution will provide e-mail messaging for Departure clients.

Covario is donating use of its organic search analytics technology to support the Web marketing efforts of The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Last month Covario undertook a similar pro bono initiative for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Omniture, Bazaarvoice, and Mercado are working together with Overstock.com to provide a strategy dubbed “searchandising.” The strategy combines Web analytics, user-generated product reviews, and consumer searches on the site, to meet customer demands.

Sapient hired Ronald Shamah as VP of global media services. He was previously VP at Citigroup.

Red Door Interactive created a site for Noodle+, a line of golf balls. The election themed site at VoteNoodle.com urges golfers to embrace Noodle as “America’s Ball.”

Cond&eacute Nast named Debi Chirichella COO of Cond&eacuteNet. She’s been the CFO of Cond&eacute Nast since 2005.

Response Media promoted Keith Perlstein to chief technology officer.
