[X+1] stocks up with new hires; Millennial Media joins with RipCode for mobile video ads; Ad Infuse expands Swisscom relationship
Millennial Media and RipCode partnered to provide mobile video advertising solutions. Millennial will use RipCode’s transcoding and delivery technology to provide advertisers and mobile content publishers with integrated ad targeting and distribution of on-demand video.
Predictive marketing firm [x+1] made 14 new hires to meet demand for its solutions. New team members include Director of Account Services Terry Behan, former VP and group director of marketing at Digitas; Director of Analytics Todd Lipton, formerly associate director in the Mobile Marketing Association’s product development group; and Director of Database Engineering Mark Williams, who recently served as manager of databases and database consulting at the MMA.
Ad Infuse expanded its relationship with Swisscom. The ad personalization firm’s adInMotion platform is integrated into the Swisscom Vodafone Live Portal. The portal will now be served on Ad Infuse’s mobile ad network.
CBS’s Entertainment Tonight will host daily content on MSN. The syndicated news magazine will provide daily articles, video segments, and photos, and will also produce daily mini-newscasts for MSN called “ET on MSN.” The content will be found on entertainment.msn.com.
Jacked and Versus entered into a partnership. Interactive broadcaster Jacked will produce broadcasts for national and regional sports games for Versus. The deal includes Web broadcasts for the regular season of the National Hockey League games, the Stanley Cup Playoffs; college football games from the Pac-10, Big 12, and Mountain West conferences; as well as Mountain West NCAA basketball games.
