Fritz Kuehn and David Johnson join the Dallas office of Tribal DDB Worldwide; AOL Time Warner names Cleary Simpson SVP of global marketing solutions; WildTangent to launch branded online games for several clients

Fritz Kuehn and David Johnson, principals at interactive content developer DreamLab, have joined the Dallas office of Tribal DDB Worldwide as director of production technologies and technical project manager, respectively.

Prior to DreamLab, where he was president and CEO, Kuehn was a co-founder of Clearwater Teleproductions, a television production company. Johnson was technical coordinator at DreamLab, where he acted as liaison between clients and development teams, technical and graphic design teams, and as an information designer between the client and the client’s customers.

AOL Time Warner has named Cleary Simpson, a 24-year veteran of Time Inc., as SVP of global marketing solutions, a role in which she’ll develop cross-platform marketing solutions for clients. Simpson’s posts at Time Inc. included a stint as advertising director for Time, associate publisher of Life magazine and an EVP of Sports Illustrated.

“Cleary is a highly talented and broadly experienced executive who has strong relationships both inside and outside our company. She has a well-earned reputation for providing intelligent, innovative solutions for advertisers,” said Michael Kelly, AOL Time Warners president of global marketing solutions

Advergame developer WildTangent has entered agreements to launch branded online games for FOXSports, FX Networks and Pepsi International.

“[The] announcements demonstrate that online games are truly an effective and immersive advertising medium with unlimited potential to uniquely connect brand marketers to millions of consumers worldwide,” said Alex St. John, CEO and founder of WildTangent.

Additionally, the company has launched an advergame for Nike. Called Magia, the three-on-three online soccer game is the second WildTangent has launched for the shoe company.

24/7 Real Media will provide Open AdStream Central ad serving to iNetworkBrokers/ON24, a provider of audio investment news on the Web and via wireless devices.

“After a thorough review, we determined that Open AdStream is best-equipped to address the rapid growth in audio and video streaming we expect to experience in the near future,” said Scott Filipps of iNetworkBrokers.

RPinteractive, a division of Rubin Postaer and Associates, is launching the Web site of Civic Tour 2003, a concert series sponsored by Honda. This site will give music fans information about the headlining bands, New Found Glory and Good Charlotte, and the national online sweepstakes, which will award two new Honda Civic Si’s, custom designed by the bands.

The web site of Princess Tours has re-launched, and now includes a live booking engine, virtual 360-degree photo tours and an array of information and planning tools for Alaska land vacations.

“The Princess wilderness lodges are truly distinguished by their quality, and this is now reflected on our new site,” said Charlie Ball, president of Princess Tours.
