Dynamics Direct gets a former hotshot exec, a top Web auto site gets a new face, and AtomicPR's client list keeps growing.

Interactive marketer deepFry has launched a Coca-Cola branded site covering highlights of the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Games. Among the site’s content categories are “Real People Report,” which has interviews, movies, and history about the Games, “Torch Relay Highlights,” and “Dates to Remember,” a timeline of each day’s competitions. The Coke branded site also contains interactive features, such as a user-manipulated Web cam and a form that allows visitors to submit questions to attendees and planners.

JK August Communications has launched a new Web site for PriceWheels, an online information source and retail catalog for car shoppers. The site includes listings from both dealers and private sellers and offers information on financing and insuring a vehicle, including partner links. Additionally, JK August created a logo and a slogan for for PriceWheels, and will manage all ongoing PriceWheels.com maintenance and feature enhancements.

Rich media marketer Dynamics Direct has picked up Peter Goldman as vice president of sales and marketing. Goldman was most recently VP of sales at email marketer MessageMedia, where he led that firm’s outsourced messaging strategy through its recent acquisition by DoubleClick. Prior to his appointment as VP in December 2000, he opened MessageMedia’s New York City office as director, eastern region sales. Before MessageMedia, Goldman was the executive director of Market Statistics, a demographic database and marketing company, where he handled all aspects of sales, marketing and operations.

Web shop Jel Productions has launched a corporate site for streaming media company Virage. The new Web presence includes a content management system and a sales extranet.

Software developer Actional has tapped AtomicPR to be its public relations agency of record. Actional’s decision was based on the need for a public relations firm that could take strategic PR action quickly and to easily coordinate efforts with overseas offices and agencies. The decision comes just as Actional prepares to launch its SoapSwitch product.
