E-centives has completed its acquisition of the assets of Consumer Review, which publishes consumer product reviews and information on the Web. ConsumerReview.com will be run as a separate business unit of E-centives, while both companies will leverage each other’s technologies and expertise to strengthen their own core competencies, E-Centives said.

“ConsumerReview.com has achieved a prominent position in the product review space and has built a loyal community of users and advertisers who rely upon its services,” said Kamran Amjadi, chairman and CEO of E-centives. “The acquisition is a strategic investment for us.”

Paul Wassem, Consumer Review’s former president & CEO, will continue on as VP of E-centives and general manager of ConsumerReview.com. Consumer Review founder Francis Cebedo and former VP of operations Mike La Rotonda will likewise continue to manage the business unit. HomeAid said the new online presence will serve as a strategic resource for the organization, highlighting the HomeAid mission, describing current and upcoming projects, and providing information about its 21 U.S. chapters. Juxt and HomeAid are also creating an email marketing campaign to drive traffic to the HomeAid site and increase awareness of the nation’s homeless.

HomeAid CEO Mike Lennon said, “The new homeaid.org site will empower us to tell a more compelling story of homelessness in America.”
