Enterprise anti-spam player Commtouch taps a new VP of sales; Searchfeed.com launches a new site; RedSheriff redesigns its New Zealand Web site.

Commtouch, a developer of enterprise anti-spam solutions, has named Tim Straight as VP of sales. Straight joins Commtouch from network security firm Netscreen Technologies, prior to which he held sales and business development positions with Mirapoint, Gadzoox Networks and Vitalsigns Software.

“Tim’s depth of experience in security and channel-driven sales brings enormous value to Commtouch,” said Commtouch CEO Gideon Mantel. “He is highly skilled at sales leadership and channel development and has a strong background in networking, security and messaging technologies.”

Contextual search marketer Searchfeed.com has launched a new site. In addition to a change in look and feel, Searchfeed.com has added programs geared toward its small and large accounts, as well as a service for media agencies that manage multiple campaigns at once.

Both advertisers and partners will also be subject to more thorough screenings by Searchfeed.com’s editorial staff, the company said. Advertiser listings and keywords will be evaluated based on newly outlined guidelines to ensure more relevant searches for the end user.

Web analtyics player RedSheriff has redesigned its New Zealand Web site to reinforce its sales message of “knowing your Web site users.” RedSheriff looked at how users had previously interacted with the site and used that information to make changes.

The relaunched site contains significantly more Flash diagrams that push information to visitors in a clearer manner, rather than requiring them to read through lengthy pages of text. Additionally, a new area has been dedicated to industry solutions.

Interactive marketing firm White Horse has joined NetIQ’s WebTrends Insight Network (WIN), a line-up of Web agencies that partner with NetIQ to deploy WebTrends marketing analytics software. NetIQ provides WIN members with WebTrends certified professional training and support.

“Our WIN membership allows us to help clients mine the data provided by WebTrends Web analytics solutions and…implement site improvements that produce the greatest value,” said Jennifer DeVoe, CEO of White Horse.
