Viral marketer ElectricArtists has partnered with Seventeen Magazine and its Web site, Seventeen.com, to promote an online book club. Called “Seventeen – Book Divas,” the Web destination is being billed as the exclusive place for the magazine’s readers to discuss, review and share thoughts about the books they love. The May 2003 issue of Seventeen officially kicks off the site; the first featured book is “The Song Reader,” by Lisa Tucker.

ElectricArtists launched “Book Divas” approximately five months ago without a corporate partnership. CEO Marc Schiller said, “The partnership with Seventeen confirms our thinking about the need for such an online outlet.”
