Atlas DMT picks up four clients; Forbes.com appoints Nancy Sterling Midwest sales manager; Epsilon forms alliance with Return Path

Atlas DMT, an ad technology firm and a unit of Avenue A, has picked up four clients. Interactive advertising firms .Com Marketing, dBase Media, Eisner Interactive, and Wahlstrom Interactive will use the Atlas digital marketing suite for third-party ad serving and campaign management. Additionally, ParadyszMatera has selected the Atlas Suite for campaign management and research support.

Atlas DMT also recently unveiled its GRP and Reach Forecaster, a Gross Rating Points (GRPs), reach and frequency tool for online media.

Forbes.com has appointed Nancy Sterling as Midwest sales manager, based in Chicago. Sterling joined Forbes in May 1997, where she has been the Washington, D.C. advertising manager for Forbes magazine. Previously she was regional manager at McGraw-Hill, where she worked on Aviation Week & Space Technology for eight years.

Epsilon, a provider of marketing and billing tools, has formed an alliance with Return Path, an email change of address services firm, to help Epsilon clients recover lost customer email addresses.

“This alliance helps Return Path expand our reach to leading multi-channel marketers,” said Matt Blumberg, Return Path chief executive officer. “As a leader in relationship marketing, Epsilon provides us with access to Fortune 500 companies who rely on email to communicate with customers.”

ElectricArtists has been chosen to implement a campaign to encourage site visits and subscriptions to soccer federation FIFA’s premium package service. ElectricArtists will supply key sports sites, fan sites and newsgroup moderators with information and incentives to encourage their audience to click through to FIFAworldcup.com. There will also be an emphasis on setting up third party deals and building awareness through coverage on major sports portals and Web sites. The campaign will be managed from EA’s presence in London and executed through offices in the U.S., Germany, France and Japan.

“We have tracked the sports arena for over two years now and signing the world’s largest sporting event as our first global client is a major win for us. We are thrilled to be working with FIFA,” said Marc Schiller, CEO of ElectricArtists.

FIFA’s premium package service will allow soccer fans across the world to watch video highlights of all 64 matches of the World Cup directly from their desktops. The Internet is positioned to be a top news resource during the event due to the time difference between participating nations. FIFA’s official site also holds a back catalogue of archived video footage from previous World Cup games dating back to 1933.

Prior to his promotion, Fasciano was responsible for establishing key business partnerships at Symblaze and identifying private investors for bridge financing. Fasciano has held senior management positions with Citibank, Thorn EMI International and HNC Software.
