Bravo Zulu Interactive launches a new Web site for Marathon Oil Corp; Organic's New York office taps Fred Petito to be director of business development; RealTime Media signs the Philadelphia Eagles

Bravo Zulu Interactive has launched the new Web site for Marathon Oil Corp. The Houston-based interactive shop had been asked to develop a site that better reflects the 114-year-old company’s new organization while allowing for easier administration

The new Marathon.com has improved architecture, a new design, and an advanced content management system custom-built for Marathon by Bravo Zulu’s in-house programming staff.

The deployment is the latest for Bravo Zulu, which has under its belt a number of similar projects for other energy-related companies, including Duke Energy, Shell Employee Federal Credit Union, and Weatherford.

The New York office of Organic has tapped Fred Petito to assume the post of director of business development.

Petito brings more than 15 years of professional services experience. He previously served as a principal at Luminant Worldwide, formerly a part of WPP Group’s Young & Rubicam. At Luminant, he oversaw new business and client services teams for several clients including MasterCard International, Kraft Foods and L’Oreal.

Prior to joining Luminant, Petito held senior business development and client services positions with Source Consulting, an IT consulting firm; Lexis-Nexis, a leading digital information provider; and various divisions of Young & Rubicam in both London and New York.

RealTime Media has signed the Philadelphia Eagles to its roster of clients. The Wynnewood, Penn.-based interactive marketer will develop weekly email newsletters — “Sunday Game Plan” — to reach about 35,000 team fans.

The newsletter will go out every Thursday, and will feature exclusive previews, as well as team information, weather updates and broadcast information. “Sunday Game Plan” also will provide information on related team events, contests, promotions and featured merchandise.

The Pennsylvania Lottery has signed on as the presenting sponsor for the newsletter.

“We’re always looking for new ways to reach out and connect with our loyal fans. That’s why partnering with RealTime Media to develop the Sunday Game Plan makes perfect sense,” said Molly Mullady, director of new business development for the Eagles. “Our fans are adamant about finding out the latest information on the team as soon as it becomes available; we’ve found that email and Web-based communications allows us to quickly disseminate important news.”

Global business-to-business full-service marketing firm Koroberi New World Marketing recently picked up two new clients: Crisplant, a maker of sorting systems for distribution centers, freight hubs, and airports, and software developer ObjectVenture. Koroberi will provide both companies with advertising services, media relations, trade show development, Web projects, sales lead management, and strategic marketing direction.

“Koroberi has been crucial to expanding ObjectVenture’s business,” said Dana Kaufman, ObjectVenture founder and CEO. “We have always been a great company with great technology, but no one knew who we were. Koroberi has changed that, getting our story out and generating a tremendous amount of awareness.”
