NBCU Digital promoted Chris Grosso and Jessica Schell. Grosso was named SVP of emerging digital business, responsible for the development of niche digital networks and businesses. Schell was named SVP of digital strategy. She’ll be responsible for strategic planning and executing digital partnerships for NBCU digital media and other divisions.
Tiffany Galligan was promoted to experience director at Avenue A/Razorfish. In the agency’s Austin office, Galligan was previously user experience lead. She will now lead user experience teams in the creation of interactive digital solutions for clients.
Beyond Interaction continues to ramp up its senior staff with the addition of Alex Tamayo as senior partner, group account director. Tamayo joins MediaCom’s digital unit from DraftFCB, where he was SVP, group media director. He also spent time as VP, U.S. operations manager for Media Contacts’, and in the digital and direct media unit of MPG, among other agencies.
StrongMail signed MyVirtualModel as a new client. MyVirtualModel plans to distribute more than 250,000 daily opt-in promotional e-mails to promote its virtual “try on” clothes using the Internet virtual solutions.
