Singapore Air taps Sapient Interactive; Worldwide Partners partners with Traffiq; data mining expert heads to eBay.
Singapore Airlines retains Sapient Interactive. The digital marketing services company has been tasked to redesign Singapore Airlines’ brand identity and develop streamlined e-commerce services such as booking tickets and other travel-related products in a single interaction.
Worldwide Partners Inc. teams up with Traffiq. WPI, a network of 92 advertising and marketing agencies, said it will use Traffiq’s technology for digital media planning and buying. The firms characterized the arrangement as a “strategic partnership.” Traffiq announced a similar relationship with Havas Digital two months ago.
Data mining expert Eric Brill joins eBay as VP, research and applied science. He will head up eBay Research Labs. Brill was most recently at Microsoft where he founded and led that company’s Text Mining, Search, and Navigation Research Group.
Digital sports media and marketing company taps Stephanie Bratcher and Carlen Dixon. They were both named interactive managing editors at the XOS Digital’s Southeastern Conference Digital Network (SECDN) and will oversee daily operations at the network’s channels that include www.SECSports.com. Bratcher was previously manager, interactive marketing services, at the International Speedway Corp. in Daytona Beach, FL. Dixon worked at SEC for more than a decade.
