Galaxy Enterprises Inc. in Orem, UT, said that it has changed the name of its banner advertising division from Banner Web to Banner Source.

Over the past year, Galaxy said it has grown its banner advertising division to market one million banners a day with a network of more than 20,000 businesses with Internet storefronts. Now under Banner Source, Galaxy has created additional strategic alliances (specifics were not disclosed) that allow it to market over 60 million banners a month. Banner Source is also expanding its revenue by making its inventory available to qualified resellers.

Banner Source top exec, Doug Byers said: “This recent name change will bring more attention to Banner Source, and allows us to provide quality inventory to our resellers. By focusing on highly-trafficked Internet sites and placing the banner ads on the first page view, those who use the services of Banner Source will see a higher click-through rate than our competitors.”

Galaxy Enterprises also owns and operates the online sales operation Galaxy Mall.
