Search giant Google grew its market share marginally in October, as did its major rival Microsoft, according to data from online measurement firm comScore. Yahoo and AOL saw their share of searches decline, meanwhile, alongside Ask.com.
Following the search alliance reached by Yahoo and Microsoft last year, market share for the pair appears to have stabilized at around 28 percent, fluctuating by less than 1 percentage point(0.1) since August.
