In a move to prepare for the festive season, popular online deals and discounts website, Groupon, has overhauled its website and updated its mobile apps.
The changes aim to make it easier for shoppers to navigate the website, getting rid of unnecessary, distracting clutter.
As well as an improved search bar, visitors to Groupon are now welcomed to the site by a personalised homepage containing hand-picked deals based on previous purchases. Its mobile apps now contain a local explorer feature which tracks users’ locations and lets them know of nearby deals.
The increased availability of data and analytics to track the customer journey has opened up entire new worlds for marketers.
According to data gathered for the report,‘Communications Infrastructure: The Backbone of Digital,’ 88% of IT professionals and 61% of marketers ranked their company’s current communication infrastructure as 'cutting-edge' or 'good.'
