Hot Jobs Inc., an Internet recruiting Web site, said it signed an agreement with Yahoo that allows Hot Jobs’ member companies to post jobs simultaneously to both Hot Jobs and the Employment section of Yahoo Classifieds.
“The Employment area in Yahoo Classifieds is one of the most popular places where employers and job seekers meet,” said Nayan Patel, producer of Yahoo Classifieds. “By enabling its members to post jobs on Yahoo, Hot Jobs is offering these clients the opportunity to reach millions of Yahoo users.”
Financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
“This is the first of several major relationships for Hot Jobs, increasing the value of our exceptional services to our members and further differentiating Hot Jobs from other Internet recruiting Web sites,” said Richard Johnson, president of Hot Jobs.
In December 1997, Hot Jobs announced an agreement with Yahoo that includes a job-listings module on the Netscape Guide by Yahoo area, where Hot Jobs is a featured site.
Hot Jobs clients include ADP, AT&T, Cambridge Technology Partners, Cisco Systems, Dow Jones, FORE Systems, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, National Semiconductor, Nations Bank, Oracle Corporation, and Sun Microsystems.
