Young creatives and hopefuls went to the fourth annual Portfolio Night presented by ihaveanidea. The speed dating-like event paired up recent grads and semi-seasoned pros with portfolios with agency reps for 15-minute sessions. The event took place in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Halifax and Calgary. Each location was Webcast and projected on screens for attendees who weren’t busy pitching to view.
ihaveandea founder Ignacio Oreamundo was keyed up by the well-attended event at a pub in New York’s East Village. He said the interest from agencies is overwhelming and he plans to expand the event to other countries including Australia in the future.
