InterVU, MatchLogic Offer Turnkey Solution for Rich Media Ads

InterVU Inc. , a pioneer in videodelivery over the Internet, and MatchLogic Inc. launched trueVU, aturnkey, one-stop shopping solution for online marketers that allows forintegration and delivery of rich media Internet advertising.

InterVU Inc., a pioneer in video delivery over the Internet, and MatchLogic Inc. launched trueVU, a turnkey, one-stop shopping solution for online marketers that allows for integration and delivery of rich media Internet advertising.

trueVU combines bandwidth-intensive media applications and delivery by the InterVU Network with the targeting, management, distribution, reporting and performance measurement of MatchLogic, the companies said.

Using the InterVU Network, trueVU can deliver rich media content in all major applications including InterVU’s V-Banner, SGI’s Cosmo VRML Player, Macromedia Director, Shockwave, Flash, Microsoft NetShow, RealNetworks’ RealPlayer, GEO’s Emblaze, and Live Picture. In addition, trueVU supports Narrative Enliven and most other streaming Java applet solutions.

trueVU also leverages MatchLogic’s proprietary technology to target, serve, monitor, measure and provide integrated reporting of advertising traffic. Advertisers may purchase any number of different rich media applications, ensure site clearance, streamline billing, and leap the technical hurdles, the companies said.

“Using trueVU to integrate rich media into online ad campaigns is a powerful way for advertisers to increase brand awareness, experience higher click- through rates and repeat Web site visits, measure the return on their investment, as well as deliver highly targeted, compelling messages,” said John deTar, vice president, advertising sales for InterVU.

Until now, rich media advertisers had to contact individual sites, integrate each rich media format with each site, test for compatibility, integrate the rich media format into their serving solution, purchase compression and streaming services, and finally integrate rich media format data into their existing reporting tool, the companies said.
