INTERVU Signs Agreement With Ad Agency Saatchi & Saatchi

INTERVU Inc., a provider of video delivery solutions, signed a one-yearagreement with Saatchi & Saatchi to deliver proprietary commercials, productinformation and other multimedia creative works to the agency's clients andinternal offices.

INTERVU Inc., a provider of video delivery solutions, signed a one-year agreement with Saatchi & Saatchi to deliver proprietary commercials, product information and other multimedia creative works to the agency’s clients and internal offices.

Under the agreement, San Diego-based INTERVU will deliver an enhanced multimedia capability to Saatchi & Saatchi’s proprietary intranet system, known as the “BRAIN” (Brand Resource And Information Network), allowing secure access to multimedia content on-demand to all employees and clients across the network.

This will enable Saatchi & Saatchi to offer state-of-the-art full-screen or streamed video/audio to desktops anywhere, anytime, using premium video technologies. Spending was not disclosed.

“Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide is obsessed with velocity and speed to market,” said Laura Limbach, chief information officer for Saatchi in North America. “For our clients to succeed, they must be fast and first. Our proprietary intranet system, ‘BRAIN,’ already enables us to provide our clients with better ideas, faster. Now, through our collaboration with INTERVU, we can take fuller advantage of cutting-edge online video delivery.”

Saatchi & Saatchi has 162 offices in 92 countries and worldwide billings of $7.3 billion.

INTERVU offers full-service outsourcing of Internet video and audio management and delivery solutions to Web sites, TV, cable and radio networks, ISPs, corporations, educational institutions, and advertisers.
