If you’re over three, you may not remember the last time you were served Jell-O. Crispin Porter + Bogusky wants to change that. Now, you can get your Jell-O the way grownups like it: on your iPhone.
Jiggle-It, a new, free iPhone app, has garnered more than 10,000 downloads in the first two days of its release to the iTunes store, with no promotion.

In the Jiggle-It app, the customizable Jell-O cube dances and jiggles along to the beat of music from your iTunes library or your device’s microphone. The app employs an original audio analyzer to detect a song’s beats per minute and changing energy levels throughout the track. You can swipe your finger in different locations on the screen to activate special moves and create new dances by linking moves together.
In fact, beneath the slick surface of that on-screen Jell-O cube, there’s a lot of engineering, time and money. More than 20 agency creatives, designers and developers had their fingers in the project; the moves were designed in collaboration with a professional choreographer.
Late on a Friday, no execs from CP+B were available for interviews. A spokesperson said the staff was a little wobbly from all the hard work.
